Obituary for Thomas Robert Hutchison
Thomas Robert Hutchison, age 75, of Hazlehurst, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
Born on January 1, 1946, in Williamson, he was a son of the late Benjamin Thomas “BT” and Mary Elnora Leach Hutchison. Mr. Hutchison worked in communications for four years while serving in the United States Army. He spent most of his life in Griffin working for Commercial Bank & Trust. More recently, he started a successful lawn care business, Complete Home & Auto in Hazlehurst.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Hutchison and Catherine; daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Aaron Robinson and Christy and Keith Whittemore; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Belanger.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church, 812 East McIntosh Road, Griffin, Georgia 30223.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Saturday at the church.
Those in attendance are asked to adhere to public health and social distancing guidelines regarding COVID-19.
