Obituary for Mary Louise Greenway
Mary Louise Greenway, age 79, of Cornelia, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Born on December 6, 1943 in Salinas, California, she was a daughter of the late Earl Gray and Jerrie Lewis Hillen. Mrs. Greenway was the owner of a janitorial service. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed sewing, cooking, eating, reading her Bible, most of all she loved her family. She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church in Cornelia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan Standridge and Mickie Gray.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce Yearwood (Karen) of Lincolnton, North Carolina, and Brent Yearwood (Tanya) of Marion, North Carolina; daughters, Nina Wheeler of Cleveland, and Mallissa Worley of Martin; grandchildren, Samantha, LaChrea, Breanna, Christopher, Cody, Kellie, and DaLee; great grandchildren, Devon, Gabriel, Gracelynn, Tracen, James, Brenleigh, Hudson, Clessy, Peyton, Ryker, River, Titan, and Raylynn; four great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Broome of Louisiana; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Hillside Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Roselane Cemetery.
