Obituary for Mary Eldarado Erwin Garrett
Mary Eldarado Erwin Garrett, age 78 of Demorest, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
Born in Cornelia, Georgia on October 4, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Ivory Erwin and Willie Smith Erwin. Mrs. Garrett was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.G. Garrett; a daughter, Patricia Garrett; sister, Grace Erwin.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy George Garrett, Christopher Garrett, Yancy Dan Garrett all of Demorest and Dennis & Marie Rogers of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia & Kenneth Burton of Clarkesville; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Mandy Cook of Alto; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Garrett’s wishes were to be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
