Obituary for Lowell Scroggs
Lowell Scroggs, age 46 of Clarkesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
Born in Gainesville, Georgia on October 9, 1973, to Regina Scroggs of Alto and the late Otis Scroggs. Lowell was self-employed in general maintenance construction.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lowell & Mattie Gerrell, Donna Daniels and Annie Mae Turpin.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Felina Marie Wells of Clarkesville; sons and spouse, Ashton Cleveland of Toccoa, Christopher Williams of Cornelia, Alex & Brittany Wells of Mt. Airy; step-son, Nicholse Wells of Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Riley & Gatlin Boswell of Maysville; step daughter Abbigale Free of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Jase Wells and Miya Wells; brothers and sister-in-law, Dale Scroggs of Alto and Young & Dava Scroggs of Jennings, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Nena & Dale Jarrell of Demorest; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Pastor Wes Davis and Pastor Terry Benfield both officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 10 am until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
