My heart is heavy with sadness. I'll always remember Lillie's smile, laughter and shining light that always made my day brighter everytime I saw her.

When I was 5 years old my father preached in Rabun County. We came by Lillie Maes house and she was at the road with her son laying on the ground. He was about my age because he was about to start school. A lady had hit him with her car and didn’t stop. My daddy put us in the front seat except my sister and she sat at the little boys feet. Lillie held his head. We took off to the hospital. The little boy died I think about Woods Furniture in Clarkesville but we took him on to the hospital. My family had run into her several times over the years and she would always cry and thank my daddy. The last time I talked to her I told her I remembered her. She was one of the most precious people I’ve ever met. I am so sorry she has left us but she had been united with Mr Brown and her children. RIP Mrs Lillie
