Obituary for Karen Hope Thomas King

Karen Hope Thomas King, age 63, of Alto, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Born on March 11, 1958, in Demorest, she was a daughter of the late Melvin Thomas and Avanelle Crowe. Mrs. King was a homemaker and a member of New Vision Worship Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Suvella Thomas and Lynn Thomas.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Maxwell King of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Haley King of Alto; son and companion, Mitchell King and John Fallon of Ontario, Canada; granddaughter, Lauren King; grandson, Christian King; sisters: Lina Thomas of Eatonton, Janey Thomas of Eatonton, and Beverly Crowe of Clarkesville; stepmother, Ealvy Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Monday, April 19, 2021, at New Vision Worship Center with Rev. Mickey Umbehant and Rev. Wes King officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at New Vision Worship Center.
