My wife and I have always enjoyed our visits with Edna and Jewel. They enjoy life and have always placed others before themselves. Edna, I’m sorry we will not be able to attend Jewel’s funeral in person but our heart and prayers are with you all today. A Bible verse that has always inspired me at such a time as this is Psalm 116:15 - Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. (Psalms 116:15, ESV).
I know Jewel is now enjoying her heavenly home with her Savior Jesus.
“ O to be like You! blessed Redeemer, This is my constant longing and prayer; Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures, Jesus, Your perfect likeness to wear. O to be like You! O to be like You, Blessed Redeemer, pure as You are! Come in Your sweetness, come in Your fullness; Stamp Your own image deep on my heart.”
Our sympathies, Will and Debra Pritchett

I have been Jewels hair dresser for a few years and I loved having her and her sister Edna in my shop. I love the stories that Edna would share about Jewel and I loved the comments that jewel would make about her sister. Jewel seemed to be always getting into mischief just because she could but she didn’t always get away with it because someone had to keep her on the straight and narrow path. She was a joy for me and she brought lots of laughter to me and the people around her. She will be missed but her memory will stay with me forever. Thank y’all for letting me be a part of your life. Love Stacy Giles at the Hair Depot.
