Edward Harold Cochran, 93, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022. A native of Homer, Georgia, he has lived in the Ringgold area for the past 52 years and was formerly of Columbus, Georgia. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Columbus. He was owner/operator of Cochran’s Auto Truck Stop that he ran for 50 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mabel Carter Cochran; wife, Mary Will Cochran; son, David Cochran and seven siblings. He is survived by four children, Angelia (Len) Hunt of Stone Mountain, GA., Cindy Martin of Dalton, GA., Denise (Greg) Kinnamon of Dalton, GA., and Christopher Cochran of Ringgold, GA.; three sisters, Laverne Walls, Mary Evelyn Herrin and Betty Jean Wilson; two brothers, Swayne Cochran and Jewell Cochran; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday November 7, 2022, at Anderson Memorial Gardens, Christian Drive, Ringgold, Georgia 30736 with Swayne Cochran officiating. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel.
