Obituary for Christopher Noel "Chris" Baker
Christopher Noel “Chris” Baker, age 26 of Alto, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019.
Born in Demorest, Georgia on August 12 he was the son of Alan & Angelia Baker of Demorest and Kelly Shelton & Phillip Reagin of Lookout, Mountain. Chris had a contagious smile and was always full of joy. He loved to serve and touched so many lives along the way. Chris loved life, enjoyed the outdoors, his dog Steve and a good haircut. He was very much loved by his family, friends and all who met him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thelma Jean Canfield Loggins, Jenny Ruth Bennett and Dan Thomas Boling.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brooklyn Waldrip Baker of Demorest; grandparents, Reynold Loggins of Cornelia and Gail Boling of Baldwin; father and mothers-in-law, Greg & Dora Waldrip of Gainesville and Vicki Waldrip of Cornelia; brother, Zachary Baker of Demorest; sisters, Kaylee Baker of Athens, Candice Smith of Commerce, Deanna Lovell of Covington and Halynn Reagin of Lookout Mountain.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, September 13, 2019 at The Torch Worship Center with Pastor Cody Kelley, Pastor Jason Berry, Pastor Scott Smith and Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in Good News Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chad Parham officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
