Obituary for Bobby Gibson
Bobby D. Gibson, age 60, of Cornelia, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
Born November 17, 1961 in Demorest Georgia, he was a son of Wanda Kay Hogan Gibson McEntire and the late Gerald Roosevelt Gibson. Mr. Gibson was employed by Hogan Lumber Company, was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed gardening, working on cars, and loved being outdoors.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Charles Gibson of Demorest; sister and fiancé, Donna Bradshaw and Jerry Carruth of Commerce; nieces, Toni Kay Moore and Jennifer Marie Burton; nephew, Adam Charles Gibson; special friend, Antonio Nunez and many other close friends.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart funeral home, with Rev. Kenneth Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following the service.
